Here's a little extra practice for your writing. Tell me what's wrong with the following sentence and correct it to the best of your ability. When you correct a sentence, post a new incorrect one for your fellow students to fix. Keep in mind that your sentence should have a clear problem that can be fixed using the writing techniques we have been discussing in class.

Here is the first sentence:

We wanted to go to the movies this weekend, but we didn't have a way to get their so we stayed home instead.

What's wrong? The first person to correct it can start things off with a new sentence.
