Let's practice our creative writing skills. I'm going to post a list of titles, and I want you to use one of the titles to create a poem. I don't care what the poem is about, just make sure you link it to one of the titles that I've posted. This should get your creative mind working; a title can spur on a lot of new ideas. We'll vote on the poems in class and the best one will get extra credit.
Here are your potential poem titles:
Around Here
Sometimes I Wonder
What If
In the Blue
While I Was Dreaming
Finding The Truth
My Funny Little Poem
Do whatever you want with this. It can be funny, serious, or even ridiculous. It can rhyme or not rhyme. You can choose to use elements we have seen in the famous poems we have been studying, or make your own format. Be creative!
Welcome to my blog! This blog will be used for educational purposes in my future classroom. It will allow my students to communicate with each other and with me about any questions or comments they have about their work or class. It will also allow me to post homework assignments and get students writing for a wider audience.
How was your school day?
